Write For Us

Contribute to Live Tech Updates — fintech, insurance, AI tools, and digital marketing.

Live Tech Updates welcomes contributions from fintech professionals, insurance practitioners, AI researchers, digital marketers, and technology writers who have something genuinely valuable to say about the topics we cover. We are not looking for generalist content that rehashes what is already widely available — we are looking for writers who bring real expertise, primary knowledge, and practical insight to complex topics.

If that sounds like you, this page tells you exactly what we are looking for and how to submit.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal Live Tech Updates contributor is someone who has lived experience — not just research experience — with the topic they are writing about:

  • Fintech and banking professionals who understand how digital payment systems, neobanks, or lending platforms work from the inside
  • Insurance professionals who can explain policy terms, coverage nuances, and IRDAI regulations in plain language
  • Technology practitioners who test AI tools, build with SaaS products, or implement business software in real business environments
  • Digital marketers with real campaign data and honest analysis of what works and what does not
  • Entrepreneurs who have built online income or digital businesses and can share honest, specific lessons
  • Researchers or academics who can translate technical or regulatory findings into genuinely accessible content

Strong writing matters. But deep, verifiable expertise in a relevant area matters more. If you have both, we are interested.

Topics We Accept

Fintech and Banking Technology

  • Practical guides to digital banking apps, UPI platforms, and payment tools based on hands-on use
  • Comparisons of fintech products with real data on fees, features, and user experience
  • Analysis of RBI regulations, digital lending frameworks, or payment system developments
  • Explainers on open banking, account aggregators, or CBDC for a non-specialist audience

Insurance Guides and Technology

  • Plain-language explanations of insurance policy types, exclusions, and claim processes
  • Comparison guides for term insurance, health insurance, or vehicle insurance with verified product data
  • Analysis of IRDAI regulatory developments and their impact on consumers
  • Guides to using insurance comparison technology effectively

AI Tools and Automation

  • Practical guides to using AI tools for specific business or marketing tasks — based on actual use
  • Honest comparisons of AI platforms with real performance data rather than marketing claims
  • Case studies showing how AI tools have improved — or failed to improve — specific workflows
  • Analysis of AI regulatory developments and their business implications

Digital Marketing and Business Technology

  • SEO strategies with supporting data or case study evidence — not just theory
  • Social media and content marketing guides grounded in real campaign experience
  • Reviews and comparisons of business SaaS tools based on genuine usage
  • Online income strategies with honest, realistic discussion of effort, timelines, and results

Topics We Do Not Accept

  • Generic top-10 lists with no original research, testing, or perspective
  • Product promotion or advertorial disguised as editorial content
  • Financial advice that constitutes specific investment, insurance, or legal recommendations
  • Cryptocurrency investment promotion or speculation content
  • Gambling, adult, or legally problematic content
  • Content that has been published or substantially mirrored elsewhere
  • AI-generated content — we use detection tools on every submission

Content Quality Standards

Length and Depth

  • Minimum 1,500 words — ideally 2,000–2,500 words for guides and analysis
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and depth that goes significantly beyond the top results already ranking for the topic
  • Avoid generic introductions (‘In today’s digital world…’) and filler conclusions

Accuracy and Sources

  • All financial figures, insurance details, and regulatory claims must be sourced from primary sources — IRDAI publications, RBI circulars, official product documentation
  • Include working hyperlinks to your primary sources within the article
  • Include a publication date on time-sensitive financial or regulatory data
  • Financial and insurance content must include a brief disclaimer that the content is informational only

Originality and Integrity

  • Content must be 100% original and unpublished — we check against existing content
  • Must be written by the named human author — we run AI detection on all submissions
  • The author must be genuinely qualified to write on the topic

Formatting and Readability

  • Use clear H2 and H3 subheadings throughout the article
  • Write in short paragraphs — 2 to 4 sentences maximum
  • Use bullet points for lists and step-by-step processes
  • Write in active voice wherever possible
  • Define financial and technical terms on first use

What Contributors Receive

  • One do-follow author bio link to your website, LinkedIn profile, or professional portfolio
  • Author byline on the published article with a short bio
  • Social media promotion of your article to our audience on publication
  • The credibility of publication on an established, independently operated financial technology publication

We do not currently pay for guest posts. We do not accept payment from contributors for editorial placement — all placement decisions are merit-based.

Link Policy

  • One do-follow link in your author bio is included with every accepted article
  • Contextual in-body links are permitted if they link to genuinely useful, authoritative sources — not commercial landing pages
  • We do not include do-follow links to commercial product pages within editorial content
  • Contextual commercial link placement is a paid service — see our Advertise With Us page

How to Pitch

  1. Email contact@livetechupdates.com with the subject line ‘Guest Post Proposal — [Your Topic]’
  2. Include a working title and a 100–150 word outline of your proposed article
  3. Include links to 2–3 published writing samples — ideally on fintech, insurance, or technology topics
  4. Briefly describe your professional background and why you are qualified to write on this topic

Do not send a completed article without a prior pitch. We review pitches first and invite full submissions only for topics that fit our editorial calendar. This saves everyone time.

After You Submit

  • Pitch review: within 5 business days
  • If your pitch is accepted: we will invite the full article submission with guidance on angle and structure
  • Full article review: within 7 business days of submission
  • We may request revisions — sometimes more than one round — before accepting an article
  • Publication: typically within 3–4 weeks of final editorial approval

Our Standards in Plain Terms

We accept very few guest post pitches. Not because we want to be exclusionary — but because our readers trust us with important financial and technology decisions, and that trust requires that every article we publish genuinely earns its place.

The writers who succeed with us bring something real: data, experience, a perspective that is not already everywhere, or a clarity of explanation that makes a complex topic genuinely accessible. If you have that, we would very much like to read your pitch.

Send your pitch to contact@livetechupdates.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
